The caprese salad is an Italian salad, more specifically Capri, consisting of sliced tomatoes evn and sliced evn mozzarella and fresh basil leaves. We have made this composition, using a variety of kumato tomato (a black tomato but intense sweet taste of my land Almería).
We also used a buffalo mozzarella (but without lactose) Italian brand Libera and we can find in the English Court from January 2015. The combination of mozzarella, tomato, and excellent vinaigrette good oil extra virgin olive cream of balsamic vinegar, a little mustard, pistachios and fresh basil, is impressive. A refreshing salad, and very showy, as you can see in the pictures by the way, I love the photos! :)
You can try different vinaigrettes if you will, but I would advise that this basil vinaigrette and pistachios, with that sweet touch of mustard is going perfect. evn The Italian brand Libera not only has this buffalo mozzarella, but it also has other lactose cheeses: evn mozzarella normal evn mattarello, scamorza and smoked scamorza.
