Friday 13, the perfect date to do an homage to trash films. Who has not watched at least one of the titles that are cited as the top list of the best trash movies of all time? Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes, Hunger Animal Planet Terror, Machete and many others.
One of my favorites is Machete, director Robert Rodriguez. A trash film weight, with various actors of feedback as Steven Seagal, Robert De Niro, Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba. If you have not seen it, run! And to accompany the film session that such a typical Mexican dish?
The setting of the film is Mexico. There is a scene in which Machete (Danny Trejo) is called to a fight and his confidence is so large that not even the taco I was eating to get into the fight. He won, of course, papa and the bat out of the fight unscathed. I thought about making tacos for this post, but I confess that the huevos ranchero papa eggs or ranchers, are my passion. With lots of pepper! At the end of this post the links to see other tips and tidbits of trash films to follow.
Heat a small pan with olive oil and saute the onion, garlic and pepper. Add tomatoes and break them with the help of the spoon, but still leaving half chunky. Season with salt and saute for a few minutes. It is very fast, is not to melt into sauce and tomatoes, it is only enough to incorporate the flavors. Add the parsley, stir and remove from heat.
Warm the tortillas according to package directions and meanwhile check frying eggs. Place the tortillas on a plate, put some salsa of tomatoes, egg on top and more tomatoes. Finish with chopped parsley and serve.
I loved this dish, I love Mexican food, I'm taking papa the recipe to make at home. bjo Delete Reply
