The interior decor creates lucky star an antique feel with elements like huge chandeliers in white

A winter menu that warms you from the inside - Red Rose
It's winter and freezing cold, and the temptation is great to not set foot out of the house to sit. But if you feel a little lucky star coming out and from the dismal weather to forget, we know of a place that your heart will be warmed ... Junipa's lucky star Café and Bistro in Bryanston has a delightful winter menu that will quickly thawing from without and within. Feel free to swap your hot water bottle and blanket for this intimate restaurant. Read our restaurant review. lucky star
"Heavenly" is the only word that meal, wine, atmosphere and experience that I have had Junipa's can describe. Everything from my first sip of mulled wine to the last bite of the chocolate brownie was magical. The decor, atmosphere, food and wine was something to remember.
The interior decor creates lucky star an antique feel with elements like huge chandeliers in white beams of a high roof and depend lucky star an old-fashioned clock on a brick wall that memories of a farmhouse kitchen call. The dark brown wood bar with a sand-colored lucky star graniettop reinforce the feeling.
The words eat, indulge, feast, delicious, yum and chocolate in pretty calligraphy written on dove-gray walls, while tables and chairs on a large, cream-colored tiles the restaurant's unique flair Franschhoek finish.
Large glass sliding doors to a huge patio opens, secretes not only the bistro's interior and exterior part, but makes you crave lazy, hot summer lucky star afternoons where you at tables under umbrellas to sit and enjoy. But in the winter holds great seildoeke freezing cold outside and the restaurant in a cozy pub converted. Heaters and the warmth of a real pizzaoond keep you warm while a welcome drink (a glass of delicious mulled lucky star wine) you immediately relax. lucky star
Atmosphere Junipa's intimate atmosphere makes you completely forget the outside world. The smells of delicious food and wine, the function of your voices, and the sounds of jazz music makes you feel calm and relaxed.
As a child, our family often socialized together on Sundays. My grandmother's capable hands, the cost for this "familiedae" made: lamb, potatoes, lucky star vegetables, chicken pie and the best pudding. And that's exactly what's Junipa their winter menu reached: traditional South African food slowly and carefully prepared.
The menu contains something lucky star for every taste: Oxtail with a risotto-puff, roasted root vegetables and Marsala jus, vanilla and coriander-marinated lamb chops with cannelloni beans and spiced butternut, sausages and potato pulp with a appelwynvleissous and traditional fish and slides of the dishes you this mouthwatering menu can expect.
I had lamb shank with celeriac puree, roasted root vegetables and Marsala jus ordered. This choice was easy, especially after the waiter (even gallantly) lucky star indicated that the shin nine hours to prepare! And how nice! The meat literally slides off the bone and the different flavors is nothing less than a flavor explosion in your mouth. The vegetables are crisp and the Marsala jus like a cloud melts on your tongue. A Tastier, heilsamer dish you're unlikely to find elsewhere.
Of course, such a delightful dish with a match is eaten, and what better than a good glass of red wine? Wines of two exclusive vineyards are part of the menu and includes something for everyone. The Brampton OVR (per glass sold), is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and delicious with the lamb shank. A must-try!
That executive chef Jean Pierre Smith knows cooking, is a fact. The main course serving is just the right size so you have a place for dessert left. Forget that awful, super and uncomfortable feeling - this delicacy lucky star is just enough.
The desserts vary each day and a cute chalkboard below. Our choice was between authentic South African malva pudding and brownies with cream or ice cream. The sjokoladeliefhebber inside me without thinking twice the brownie chosen ... and it (like the main course), does not disappoint.
