The best rock bands of the 60 Barcelona 4) LONE STAR FERNANDO AISA (Anthology CD singles Lone Star) Lone Star, Lone Star, was one of Barcelona's most popular rock groups of the sixties and seventies decades. They had made five young musicians, among them Peter Gene, who had taken piano lessons at the Liceu Conservatory. Gene had performed in several jazz cellars of the city. The group was formed by the following musicians: Willy Nab (lead guitar), Rafael de la Vega (bass), Henry Carpenter (piano), Henry Lopez (drums) and Peter Gene (singer). The band began performing in various pubs ons'improvisaven dance halls, especially in the area of Plaça Reial, where Texas had the slide and the basement bar where he settled soon after the Jamboree. Hence the act passed Gracienc Orpheus, the Hot Club, the ITS and Uncle Tom Cabin in Pedralbes, toi which became one of the usual places for their actions for a long time. In 1961 he recorded an EP and EMI fixtar entirely in English, which highlights the song My babe. The second album guitarist Joan Miró and Henry Carpenter Nab replace Willy stopped training. The first big success was The Lone Star House of the rising sun (House of the Rising Sound) The Animals of the English. Lone Star also performed his own compositions: The Legend, Quiero Vivir en libertad, My Street, The trilogy is my life. In 1965 they participated in the Festival "Concentration Ye-Ye" the bullring "Las Arenas" from Barcelona with the presence toi of the best rock bands of Madrid and Barcelona.
